Established in 1977 the Foundation is a philanthropic organisation dedicated to arts and education in the UK.

The Foundation has made numerous significant strategic capital grants since its inception. The most recent is the Jerwood Gallery, Hastings, which has enabled the Foundation to place its important Collection of 20th and 21st Century works of art in the public domain.

Renowned rehearsal facilities for theatre and dance near London’s Bankside.

Opened in 1998 as the first major capital initiative of the Jerwood Foundation, Jerwood Space also offers gallery spaces, meeting rooms and a café space, all of which are open to the public and available for hire.

Supporting artists and arts producers at key points in their development through revenue grants.

A UK registered charity endowed by the Jerwood Foundation, the Jerwood Charitable Foundation also runs Jerwood Visual Arts, a contemporary gallery programme based at Jerwood Space, London and on tour.
